The Sony VENICE 6K camera is created by directors of photography and equipped with a completely new developed full frame image sensor to meet all needs of the film industry, expanding the boundaries of acquiring large images with exceptional quality.
The ease of use and reliability of the camera are among the main aspects of interest to operators, especially in the event of shooting in unfavorable conditions or with tight deadlines. Thanks to the easy-to-use design, the clear and simple navigation interface of the menu and the highly resistant and reliable structure of Sony VENICE, you will be able to focus only on the shooting and not on the camera.
Sony VENICE features a 36 x 24 mm full frame image sensor, designed for the high-end cinema industry, capable of capturing images with a maximum resolution of up to 6048 x 4032. In imager modes, VENICE offers support native of Super 35 24.3 x 18.0 mm, with resolution of 4096 x 3024 (equivalent to films with 4 perforations) and Super 35 24.3 x 12.8 mm with resolution of 4096 x 2160 (equivalent to films with 3 perforations).
In other words, the new full frame sensor allows you to shoot in almost all formats, including Super 35 anamorphic and spherical full frame of 18 mm high and anamorphic and spherical full frame of 24 mm high. Virtually all aspect ratios are available: 1.85:1, 2.39:1, 17:9, even full frame or Super35.
