Ironglass MIR-1V 37mm T2.9 – MKII Rehousing is a highly popular wide-to-standard lens, based on the renowned Zeiss Flektogon, celebrated for its spectacular flares. The MKII version completely upgrades the original mechanics and body, featuring a robust build, adjustable PL or EF mount, T-stop markings, reversed focus scale, and a hybrid focus system that ensures smooth and precise rotation even with heavy optical blocks, along with internal focusing compatible with clip-on matte boxes. The minimum focusing distance has been improved to 0.57 m, making the lens much more suitable for close-ups without compromising image quality. Fully compatible with professional cinema cameras, a replacement iris ring can be added for 35mm film cameras if needed.
